The Global-RuneScape Herald wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if you need to use the slayer skill to kill certain animals you hunt down, so it's probably going to be interesting.

That clearly says that you would be using Slayer to kill some of the animals, I highly doubt this since the Behind The Scenes quotes that this is a fully non-combat skill. :)
But, other than that, great job Gamer H on the article and well done Aliensvortex for the layout and coding! :D

i loved reading this so ty=)

i also think it wont be connected to slayer, but who knows.

i wonder if some of the things we will hunt will give food to cook, maybe the highest one will be better than sharks?

i wonder if maybe at last there will be a use for the bird eggs?

i wonder what thos new armor and weapons all about if its not a combat skill? the reward thing for a skill is very weird too. rewards are usually for a mini game and not for a skill.

we will have to wait and see

Well, they probably mean the monster will be killed after catching it, and then you get a drop, as usual.

After I read that, I had a sudden image of 17th century fur-trappers running around runescape with large scimitars screaming something along the lines of 'OMGZ DIE SQRIEL!"

Then I read the bit about it being non-combative.

I really hope that F2P will be able to get some benefits from this.

Rewards range from brand new weapons and armour all the way to your own imp in a box.

Don't care about weaponry, could care less about imp in a box.

Now. If I can get some nice mink robes out of this....Hoo hoo.

Sounds to me like a skill that won't appeal to click-monkeys or people using bots. Maybe that's why so many people are complaining so loudly.

Golden words.

Anyways. I liked the preview, even though bits of the article seems to be a bit value, but since no one really know about this skill, I think it's a job well done.

"GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL, POKEM-" Wait. Wrong game.

As with our previous release, we would appreciate any suggestions you may have for future releases, and of course comments on the Herald itself.

Hmm

I play games mainly to destress myself rather than be a somebody. I'm pretty good with my life. Playing games and being good at them gives me a good feeling and this is the main driving factor for which I play games. Everyone play games for different reasons and this is a interesting topic for gamer to delve into.

I want to add that I'm a bigger fan of First Person shooter games then MMORPGs since FPS require more of skill than long hours of gameplay.

Rofl, nice one Lil, but why are you addicted? What pulls you into the game?
