I didn't make this, but thought it was funny. I used to like WoW, and would still play if it was possible to play and stop at any point in the game.

I think it's probably cost me more than 99.9% of the people that play/have played WoW. Full scholarship to college + 4 years of $15/month. Luckily I got my act together and earned another full ride back my sophomore year, but it was a real pain making it through that first year lol.

Total opposite of that. Wow is the impiety of gay. I mean seriously you have to pay to play a game and you don't have the choice to play it for free. You also get alot more addicted to it then Runescape so it's harder to quit. With Runescape you can play for free and is easier to quit then alot of the other MMORPG's out there.

Thats why wow is not gay it can hold you attention for more then 2 min unlike rs

Yea but think of it like this, I know people who had LOST relationships from playing WoW. I keep a girlfriend playing RS, my friend lost his within months of playing WoW. Plus, you hear those stories of people losing marriages to WoW, and you may laugh, but I've seen some of those stories happen in real life. So addiction isn't the best thing, plus RS beats WoW imo. 3 months of RS = 1 month of WoW.

The only thing I've heard so far that's bad about wow is the price. For most people, the price isn't going to be an issue. In the overall scheme of things, $15/month isn't a big deal to most people, especially for a really good game. There have been quite a few suicides over games like this though. WoW has had multiple accounts of them, but I think Everquest still has more suicides. There are lost relationships over quite a few games, but in-depth lore really helps fuel the addiction. My ex was always all over me about playing too much, and I eventually quit because of her. I think it was....Korea, maybe Vietnam, that WoW was banned. They said that males were too obsessed with the game instead of girls that they were afraid the population would begin to decrease lol.

While yes, I like that RS is cheaper than WoW, my main sticking point with WoW is that it takes too much time. I simply don't have the schedule that allows me to log in every tuesday, thursday, and saturday to raid for 4 hours straight...I like that I can log in to RS at 5:30am when I wake up in the morning to do a few things in-game before school, but other than that, I don't have to worry about it. I like to play on my schedule, not a guild leader's.

Now that is how you argue your point. +1 Skewl, good job lol. That's the reason I had to quit. Sleeping in the afternoon between classes so you can stay up all night raiding with your guild, having to have 24 other people for the main raids to be online together and coordinated, it just doesn't make for a very well maintained lifestyle.

Anyways, I reckon which game I think is more pointless/worse/whatever is obvious, since I can afford to play any game I want, and I play RS and not WoW. (I do like the old Warcraft game, though...)

Pretty much anyone who has a job can afford to play either one they want. What's your reasoning behind why you play rs over WoW?
